Hong Kong Arts Centre, Wan Chai | “Sparkling Artists” Art Exhibition

Jointly organised by the Arts Education Section, Curriculum Development Institute of the Education Bureau and The Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education, the Visual Arts Gifted Education Programme is dedicated to providing third-tier external support to local secondary schools to nurture gifted students with potential in the visual arts. 

The “Sparkling Artists” exhibition, held as part of this year’s programme, showcases the creative learning achievements of the students. We cordially invite you to witness the emergence of Hong Kong’s future cultural artistic talents.

Highlights of the exhibition include:

1)      6-month Artistic Transformation: Showcasing the outcomes of the “Sparkling Artists” programme commissioned to the Hong Kong Arts Centre, this section highlights the exceptional artistic potential demonstrated by 30 secondary students under the guidance of seasoned artists.

2)      Beijing-Hong Kong Art Exchange: A selection of works by 20 students who took the 45-hour “Detail Sketching” course at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, showcasing the fruitful outcomes of cross-regional academic study.
